Brand new for 2020, Bauer has continued their revolutionary line and brought out the new Bauer Supreme UltraSonic Senior Goalie Chest & Arm Protector. The Bauer UltraSonic features key revisions and adaptations to improve upon previous models and improve your Bauer experience.

Starting off with the front section of the Bauer UltraSonic Chest Protector, you will see Bauer’s new material which is also seen on the knee block of the UltraSonic leg pads and provides higher durability throughout use. Next, you will see a slightly redesigned shoulder floater made up of Curv-Shock-Lite technology which is designed to protect and disperse impacts taken to the shoulder floaters. A helpful addition for particular goaltenders comes as removable suspender slots which makes wearing suspenders over their chest protector easier than ever.

Moving down further on this unit, a floating Shocklite and Poron sternum piece provides extra protection to this key area when taking shots. Additionally, pant connection stretch cords are provided to tie in the goaltenders pants to their chest protector. All along the stomach section you will find Shocklite providing optimal protection and mobility.

Next, we are going on to the arms which look much different than any other chest protector on the market. Starting off, the arms are designed to create maximum mobility while keeping the goaltender well protected. The entire arm is made up of Shock-Lite Pro designed to prevent from arm stingers whole being incredibly light and protective. On the elbow floaters, AMP Arm with Curv Composite and Shocklite create a highly mobile design with no interference between the different pieces that make up the elbow floaters. Returning from the 2X chest protector, the added comfort wrist protector which comes on the left hand by default adds protection to the goaltenders catching hand and can be moved to the other arm or removed completely.

Finally flipping around to the back of the Bauer UltraSonic Chest Protector, you will find two adjustment points for the collar located on top of the shoulders. On the backplate adjustments you will find one strap that runs through the middle of the goaltenders back that can be adjusted on one side. Lower down, two separate straps go out on to the sides and can be adjusted individually to find the exact fit the goaltender wants to achieve. Finally, for the strapping, a strap similar to a jersey fight strap can be used to attach the goaltender’s pants and chest protector. The backplate itself is made out of Thermocore technology which acts as a cooling material to keep the goaltender comfortable and prevent overheating.
